The Avalon is the most built home design by Ryan Homes at Liberty Knolls subdivision in Stafford County. It features a two-story foyer dividing formal living and dining rooms, each featuring standard 9 foot ceilings. The main level feature is the two-story family room next to a gourmet kitchen with double wall ovens, gas cooktop, spacious pantry closet, and center island. The home office can become a fifth bedroom (optional). The second floor owner’s suite includes a soaking bathtub, separate shower, two vanities, toilet closet, and a huge closet enclosed in a separate room. The single floor family room option includes adding a sitting area to the owners suite. This option also places a private bathroom in the second bedroom, and the size of the fourth bedroom increases. Standard features include four bedrooms, gas fireplace, gourmet kitchen, two-car garage, and unfinished basement. The single-family homes with structural options at Liberty Knolls allow the construction of 6,000 finished square feet homes with 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. See below slideshow.
Liberty Knolls subdivision in Stafford County is a 99 home community on one-third acre sites. It is directly across from Colonial Forge High School on Courthouse Road (Route 630). Ryan Homes is the only builder in this subdivision.
Next to Liberty Knolls there are two subdivisions which will connect to Liberty Knolls. Development of lots, street and utilities began in February 2017 with homes built by Lennar to start in September 2017. This will be 51 single-family homes on 1/4 to 1/2 acre lots in Liberty Knolls West. It will connect to Penns Charter Lane. Another development which has not been announced could produce another 200 homes north of Liberty Knolls between Embrey Mill Drive and Liberty Knolls Drive. The land has been acquired and a public hearing has not yet been announced. The amount of development surrounding Liberty Knolls in the coming years should attract more commercial interests along Courthouse Road. It reminds us of Garrisonville Road 30 years ago.

We have followed the development of Liberty Knolls from the beginning, and the results were no surprise to us. This has been a great selling subdivision for Ryan Homes. Having a community with many different home designs, one-third acre home sites on flat land in Stafford County, situated next to Winding Creek Elementary School and across the street from Colonial Forge High School, easy access (2 miles) to commuter lots and Interstate exit 140, and prices on matching homes well below homes for sale in Prince William County (compare to May’s Quarter in Lake Ridge), makes this a highly sought after subdivision. We became ready to purchase a home during the beginning of September 2015 when the summer home sales figures dropped as usual making it a good time to buy a home. We verified Liberty Knolls was the most home for our money after searching for our next home in Bristow, Gainesville, Haymarket, Manassas, Warrenton, and Woodbridge. We purchased the Torino home design and moved from Hampton Oaks to 19 Statehouse Lane on March 15, 2016.
