  • Aquia Harbour Stable has 20 stalls and indoor and outdoor riding arenas. It is a self-care facility and each family is responsible for the care and feeding of their horses and general upkeep of the barn. The Aquia Harbour Stables contains 20 stalls with indoor and outdoor riding arenas, 2 indoor stalls for grooming, an outdoor wash stall, and 7 paddocks for turn-out.
    General maintenance and upkeep of the barn are accomplished by members and a weekly clean up roster is rotated among members/families. Each horse is to be fed and watered twice daily, and each stall is to be cleaned once daily.

    Autumn Creek Stables (Fredericksburg) Rider instruction and horse training. Horse and rider training are provided for English, Dressage, Driving, Hunter, Pleasure, Saddleseat, and Western disciplines. Autumn Creek Stables offers on-site training of both horses and riders of all skill levels. Riding camps and therapeutic riding are also offered at Autumn Creek Stables in a 80′ by 150′ indoor riding area. The stalls are 12′ by 12′ with rubber mat floors, and the barn has a hot and cold water wash stall, large tack room, and restrooms.

  • Blue Ribbon Stables Established in 2004, Blue Ribbon Stables offers 12′ by 12′ matted stalls with fans and lights. It is 4 miles east of Stafford County Courthouse.
  • Central Virginia Horse Rescue The mission statement of Central Virginia Horse Rescue: “Central Virginia Horse Rescue, Inc (CVHR) is a GFAS Verified 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the compassionate care of equines.  Our mission is to save, protect, and rehabilitate equines in need.  We rescue unwanted, abused, neglected, or abandoned equines; provide them with care and rehabilitation; and finally find them a compatible, loving home.  We believe that education is the long-term solution to improving the lives of equines.”
  • Crimson Hill Farm at 129 Hartwood Road Fredericksburg, Virginia 22406-4201. This is a 20 stall boarding facility with a large fenced pasture. Phone (540) 656-8728.
  • Horse Barn Tack Shop (Falmouth) English and Western tack and apparel.
  • Stonehouse Equestrian (Stafford) English and Western horseback riding lessons for ages 8 and up. There is a youth program for ages 4-7. Boarding services are available.
