Maryanne Moyers earned top honors as she was recognized by the Prince William Association of Realtors (PWAR) as 2015 Manager of the Year. Managing real estate professionals from offices throughout Prince William County are eligible for this recognition.
The PWAR Manager of the Year Award uses the following criteria for candidates:

- Commitment to sales associate education and training.
- REALTOR achievements and contributions.
- Business accomplishments.
- Community involvement.
- Management criteria includes innovation, creativity and originality.

The narrative for this award follows:
“To say the year 2015 was full of many adjustments and transitions would be an understatement for our Realtors in our Woodbridge office. We started off the year with a very ill broker (George Lyons b. 10/29/1959 d. 9/13/2015) who although battling cancer, was still very present in our day to day activities. While keeping connected with the agents in the office, many times from home, he made sure we were not only operating as a business but as a family! Maryanne Moyers kept in close contact with him and made sure information was disseminated to us when he was unable to do so.
The loss of our managing broker in September was not only felt throughout our company but also the real estate community in our region. Within a couple of weeks Maryanne Moyers was announced as the new managing broker. She was immediately tasked with hiring and training new administrators and overseeing an internal move and remodeling of our office building. She handled this flawlessly while dedicating many hours of personal time to make sure we survived these changes and make the necessary adjustments to thrive during this immense transition of the day to day operation of our office.

Since being announced as our new managing broker she has provided our office with strength, encouragement and some tough love when we needed it. But most of all she has pulled us together during some of the hardest transitions an office would have to face. Because of her leadership as an agent and now as out broker, she has earned the trust of our office and our cohesiveness is strong! We are set up to have an amazing future! It is for these reasons we would like to nominate Maryanne Moyers as the 2015 PWAR Manager of the Year.
